Johnson & Associates Granted Summary Judgment

GALVESTON, TEXAS (September 17, 2019)— Johnson & Associates Members Christopher Johnson and Justin Kornegay represented a local property owner to enforce a settlement agreement to resolve litigation relating to claims of adverse possession asserted by the property owners children. Both Johnson & Associates and Defendants’ counsel moved for summary judgment to enforce their interpretation of the settlement agreement and on September 17, 2019, Galveston County Probate Judge Kimberly Sullivan granted Summary Judgment in favor of the firm’s clients and denied the Defendants’ summary judgment, ordering the Defendants to perform all obligations and duties under the settlement agreement in accordance with the interpretation advanced by Johnson & Associates.
