Morgan Jenkins is an established, dedicated and detail-oriented attorney at Johnson & Associates, PLLC. Clients have come to know and appreciate Morgan for her strong work ethic, experience, and straightforward approach to resolving even the most complex legal issues.

Morgan represents clients in an array of civil and business litigation matters including breach of contract claims, real estate disputes, restrictive covenant and trade secret matters, and probate disputes. Morgan also has experience representing clients in both state court appeals as well as appeals in the Fifth Circuit.

In addition to advocating for her clients in the courtroom, a notable portion of Morgan’s practice includes representing clients in all industries drafting and negotiating business contracts and commercial transactions of any size. Morgan advises clients in transactions through every stage from entity formation, preparation of governing documents, private equity investments, capital raises, asset purchases, mergers and acquisitions. Morgan also counsels businesses in their day to day operations by drafting and reviewing a variety of contracts such as employment agreements and handbooks, restrictive covenants, confidentiality agreements, and many more. Morgan strives to understand the unique business needs of her clients on each transaction and works to achieve their goals while minimizing risks.

Morgan received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston before returning to her home state of Mississippi to pursue her law degree at Mississippi College School of Law. During law school Morgan served as an intern for the City of Jackson- Office of the City Attorney where she gained experience in a multitude of areas including contract review and real-estate zoning and restrictions. Morgan returned to Houston, Texas during her final semester of law school where she served as an intern for the City of Houston’s Legal Department.

Morgan’s strong character and work ethic can be attributed to being raised on a rural southern farm where the values of integrity and hard work were instilled at an early age. In her free time Morgan enjoys spending time with her family and pets. She is also an antique and classic car enthusiast. Morgan is a proud member of the Junior League of Galveston County and actively gives back to her local community through various charities and volunteer activities.
