Shannon earned her Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communications from Texas Tech University and her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston. While in law school, Shannon interned with the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office and was a faculty-nominated member of the Dean’s Committee for Pro Bono Work & Access to Justice. Shannon began her legal career as a criminal prosecutor in Galveston County and worked as a felony juvenile prosecutor for multiple years. Shannon later transitioned her courtroom experience into civil litigation, representing clients in real estate and property disputes. Shannon has litigated matters ranging from small claims disputes to violent first-degree felonies and brings the same thorough preparation, meticulous attention to detail, and steadfast advocacy to every client she represents, regardless of the size or complexity of the case.
